Available for Lectures at Magic Clubs and Organizations

The April meeting of the Magic Masters was well attended. Thanks to Bill Weimer for presenting a most interesting and educational lecture centered on his fascinating book, Now You See Them, Now You Don't - my life in the magic bars of Chicago. Bill's nonstop demonstration of tricks and gags that he's honed after working in many of the magic bars in Chicago kept the members attention for over 2 1/2 hours. His stories about his experiences while performing magic for hundreds and hundreds of guests were truly a treat. Life in the magic bars wasn't always easy, but it provided a proving ground for many entertaining magic routines.  Don Wiberg

Thank you for the outstanding lecture you provided Society of American Magicians Assembly 3. Your lecture was a perfect mix of performance tested material and history. Your ability to engage a crowd surely comes from the many years spent presenting magic in bars and restaurants around Chicago. Thank you for showcasing your abilities to our Assembly - each of us walked away learning something new and USEFUL! Well done!  Charles Miericke

I'm speaking for all the members of the New Mazda Mystic Ring and say we are so grateful to you for sharing your stories and magic with us… Everyone had good words to say about the program. It was a great magical evening.  Kevin Sarnwick

Bill's performance at SAM 148 was filled with solid practical close-up magic and a insider's fun glimpse into the golden age of Chicago's lounge magic. Donald Clancy

For any club looking for an unusual and entertaining program, I highly recommend Bill Weimer's talk/lecture. The Knights of Sleights just had their monthly meeting and Bill presented his program. It was one of the best magic club meetings I have ever attended!  He talked about some of the history of magic entertainment spots past and present in Chicago, and he has worked them ALL! His talk featured lots of hilarious stories about his experiences and the experiences of some of the other Chicago magic notables. He also taught many of his pet routines, honed with years of experience in front of real-world audiences. The hallmark of his routines is that they are practical, and more importantly they are all entertaining!…Magic clubs listen up - for a memorable meeting, call Bill Weimer.  John "Doc" Morrissy
